我们今天关注的主题是豪华汽车在中国市场销量大增。

请看一组数据。

奔驰,第三季度在华售出新车223,631辆,同比增长23.4%,超越了去年同期创下的纪录。

宝马,第三季度全球总销量为67万辆,其中在中国区的总销量为23.06万辆,占比达到34%。

保时捷,前三季度在中国交付新车 62,823 辆,持续蝉联保时捷全球最大单一市场。其中,双门跑车前三季度交付量同比劲增 62%。

此外,雷克萨斯、林肯、沃尔沃、捷豹路虎等,在中国市场都有良好表现。

豪车市场的表现,既在意料之外,又在情理之中。

说意料之外,疫情仿佛并未对消费能力造成太大影响,反而使积蓄已久的消费热情集中爆发。

说情理之中,一是国民消费意愿在提升。尤其是在一线城市,疫情让人们更多地去追求健康、追求高品质的生活,消费的意愿高于投资意愿。二是消费政策的促进和营商环境的持续改善。三是新车产品本身的高科技、高性能,也激发了购买意愿。

总之,快速升级的国内消费需求,给促进消费带来了巨大的想象空间,豪车市场的表现,就是个启示。

通用汽车将增加电动汽车产量

GM To Increase Electric Vehicle Production

通用汽车公司日前宣布,将在其美国制造业务上投资约22亿美元,主要用于增加电动汽车的产量。

General Motors is investing about $2.2 billion in its U.S. manufacturing operations, largely to increase production of electric vehicles, the company announced recently.

这笔投资是这家底特律汽车制造商的最新一笔投资。在公司首席执行官玛丽·博拉提出的零撞车、零排放和零拥堵的“三零”愿景下,通用汽车正在转向电动汽车,这是该公司的总体目标。

The investment is the latest for the Detroit automaker as it pivots toward EVs under GM CEO Mary Barra’s “triple zero” vision of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion-- an overarching goal for the company.

该公司此前曾表示,计划到2023年在全球发布至少20款新电动汽车,其中包括即将推出的GMC悍马EV,这款汽车将于当地时间本周二晚亮相。

The company has previously said it plans to release at least 20 new electric vehicles globally by 2023, including the upcoming GMC Hummer EV, which will be unveiled Tuesday night.

The $2.2 billion in new investments will occur in the coming years, according to the company. Roughly $2 billion of that money will go toward a plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, for production of future electric vehicles, including the recently unveiled Cadillac Lyriq crossover.

Airbus To Bring First Mars Samples To Earth

空中客车公司被欧洲航天局选定为“火星采样返回”计划中返地轨道飞行器的主要承包商。

Airbus has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) as prime contractor for the Mars Sample Return’s Earth Return Orbiter (ERO) .

这是有史以来第一架将样本从火星带回地球的航天器,该航天器合同价值4.91亿欧元。

the first ever spacecraft to bring samples back to Earth from Mars. The value of the ERO contract is € 491 million.

火星样本返回是欧洲航天局与美国国家航空航天局的一项联合计划,也是火星探索的下一步计划。

Mars Sample Return (MSR) is a joint ESA-NASA campaign and the next step in the exploration of Mars.

返地轨道飞行器和样本取回车是火星样本返回计划中的两个主要欧洲组件,均由空中客车公司设计并制造的。

ERO and the Sample Fetch Rover (SFR) are the two main European elements of MSR, both are set to be designed and built by Airbus.

这项为期五年的计划包括发射航天器前往火星、作为与地面任务的通信中继、在轨道上接收样本、并将其安全带回地球。

The five year mission will see the spacecraft head to Mars, act as a communication relay with the surface missions, perform a rendezvous with the orbiting samples and bring them safely back to Earth.

Milestone Moment: Girls4Tech Reaches 1 Million Girls

万事达卡近日宣布,旗下理工科教育项目“女性科技新力量”(Girls4Tech)成功惠及全球100万青少年女性。

Mastercard’s signature science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) program, Girls4Tech, reached its initial goal of educating one million girls.

此外,万事达卡也进一步承诺,“女性科技新力量”项目将于2025年前覆盖全球500万青少年女性。

The program has a new and inspiring ambition to reach five million girls by 2025.

万事达卡社区参与副总裁兼“女性科技新力量”项目创始人Susan Warner表示:“万事达卡的初衷,是赋能广大青少年女性更好地掌握理工科知识,培养关键技能进而驱动其学业和事业进步。这一项目不仅有助于激发他们对于理工科的好奇心,还很好地兼顾了学以致用。”

“Our goal is to build foundational STEM knowledge and develop critical 21st century skills girls need for their studies and career success. Our program sparks their curiosity in STEM and teaches them real-world applications of those skills.” said Susan Warner, vice president of talent and community engagement and founder of Girls4Tech.

据悉,基于全球认可的科学及数学标准并且充分融合自身技术及创新专长,万事达卡于2014年正式推出“女性科技新力量”项目。

The program, which launched in 2014, offers activities and curriculum built on global science and math standards.

万事达卡为“女性科技新力量”打造了一系列内容丰富的STEM活动及课程,旨在赋能青少年女性深入探索并了解例如欺诈侦测、数据科学和软件工程等理工科职业的发展方向。

It incorporates Mastercard’s deep expertise in technology and innovation, enabling students to discover a range of STEM careers, such as fraud detective, data scientist and software engineer.

宝洁销售额增长9%

P&G Sales Jump 9%

据外媒报道,宝洁公司日前公布截止至2020年9月30日的2021财年第一季度财报显示,受疫情期间清洁和洗衣产品需求的推动,该公司本财季收入增长9%。

Procter & Gamble reported on Tuesday that fiscal first-quarter revenue rose 9%, fueled by demand for its cleaning and laundry products during the coronavirus pandemic.

财报显示,宝洁第一财季净利润为42.8亿美元,合每股1.63美元,高于上年同期的35.9亿美元和每股1.36美元。

The company reported net income of $4.28 billion, or $1.63 per share, up from $3.59 billion, or $1.36 per share, a year earlier.

净销售额增长9%,至193.2亿美元,超过了183.8亿美元的预期。

Net sales rose 9% to $19.32 billion, topping expectations of $18.38 billion.

首席财务长兼首席运营官乔恩·莫勒表示,美国和中国分别实现了16%和12%的增长。

CFO and COO Jon Moeller said that the U.S. saw growth of 16% and China reported growth of 12%.

宝洁公司目前预计,2021财年的销售额增幅为3%至4%,高于此前预测的1%至3%。有机收入目前预计将增长4%至5%,高于此前2%至4%的预期。

P&G now expects sales growth of 3% to 4% during fiscal 2021, up from its prior forecast of 1% to 3%. Organic revenue is now forecast to rise by 4% to 5%, higher than its previous expectations of 2% to 4%.
