Reporter Xu Peng said:"Hello guys, every twilight Shanghai this city turns on its switch of the night and today I will show you something interesting. There is a Russian band that will bring us an amazing communication of musical culture between Eastern and Western."
"Here comes the Sunrise Expedition Band from Russia. They’re driving a vintage Soviet car across Eurasia, playing gigs and traveling without a final destination——just chasing their musical dreams. This August, they’ve arrived in the beautiful Jiangnan region of China, searching for kindred spirits and creative inspiration. In Shanghai, they teamed up with the Zide Guqin studio in Minhang District, creating world music together by the Huangpu River, with the Guqin as their guide."Xu asked:"As a team to tour together, play together and live together. How about the feel?"
Ilya Mikhalchenkov, the head and the main vocalist of the Sunrise Expedition Band, told the reporter:"You know, we like a family first of all and it was a really tough experience. we traveled for one hundred and fourteen days. That times we had zero money so we earned by playing gigs by performing and the second we have a mission. It's building the cultural bridge between different nations like Russia and China."
After a simple rehearsal, the performance is about to begin.
The Gusli from Russia and the Guqin from China, two traditional instruments from different countries, have collided in a stunning symphony played by young artists from both nations. Through their music, they’ve bridged these two cultures, searching for a true connection.
Bai Wuxia, from the Zide Guqin studio, told the reporter:"Both sides brought their own feeling about life, the environment and nature into this musical fusion. We are hoping to meet them more often in the future."
记者许鹏：“大家好，每当夜幕降临之际，上海这座城市便显示出和白天完全不同的一面，今天我要给大家介绍一件有意思的事。一支俄罗斯乐队将用他们美妙的音乐，给我们带来一场有趣的东西方文化交流。”
“这是来自俄罗斯的日出远征旅行乐队，他们开着老爷车，穿越了欧亚大陆，一路边演出边旅行，不设终点，只为音乐梦而奔赴。这个八月，他们来到了美丽的中国江南，寻找音乐的知音与创作的灵感。在上海站，他们与闵行区的自得琴社，在黄浦江边，以古琴为引，共创世界音乐。”
“作为一个团队一起巡演，一起玩耍，一起生活。这样的旅行生活是一种什么体验？”记者问道。日出远征乐队主理人兼主唱伊利亚·米哈尔琴科夫告诉记者：“首先，我们成员之间就像是家人一样。一开始的旅行是一段很艰难的经历，我们旅行了114天的时间，那时候我们的口袋空空，只能一边表演赚钱一边继续我们的旅行。但是，我们有一个共同的目标让我们没有放弃，就是通过音乐架起不同国家之间的民间文化的桥梁，就像俄罗斯和中国。”
经过简单的排练，演出就要开始了。
俄罗斯古斯里琴与中国古琴，这两种属于不同国家的古老乐器，在两国年轻艺术家的演奏里，碰撞出了绝美的交响。高山流水觅知音，通过音乐，将两种文化连接了起来。
来自自得琴社的白无瑕说：“双方都带着自己对生活和环境对自然的感受投入到了这一场音乐交融之中。我们也希望以后可以多见几面进行交流。”
