首先这里的car是指“车厢”，

“车速快”应该用“fast”还是“quick”
除了车牌号容易直译外，还有一个表达很多同学也容易弄错，那就是说“车速快”。
大家都知道英语中表达“快”有两个超级常用的单词，一个是“fast”，一个是“quick”。
那表示“车速快”应该用“fast”还是“quick”呢？
答案是“fast”。
因为“fast”表示人或物体的运动速度很快，强调的是“速度”。
“quick”强调的是“时间”，在短时间内，快速完成动作。
比如，一辆汽车在快速行驶；一个人在快速奔跑。这个时候，我们只能用fast而不能使用quick来表达。
例句 ●
His motorboat is very fast.
他的汽艇速度非常快。
You walk very fast.
你走的很快。
而“quick”一般表示动作在很短的时间内，甚至是比计划时间更短的时间内，快速完成，强调的是“时间”。
例句 ●
You'll have to be quick. The flight leaves in about three hours
你得快点了，飞机大约3小时后起飞。
当然，“车速快”除了可以说“The car is going too fast.” 还可以这样表达：“The car is speeding.” 也很地道！
