“迭代20——上海多伦现代美术馆建馆二十周年特展”即将启幕！

上海多伦现代美术馆创建于2003年，是中国大陆第一家按现代多功能目标规划建设的、为中国当代艺术发展服务的公立美术馆。

2023年，上海多伦现代美术馆迎来了建馆二十周年的重要时间节点，作为中国大陆第一家由政府举办的公立现当代美术馆，它也是中国当代艺术的重要参与者、推动者。在这二十年间艺术界和美术馆行业都发生了巨大的变化。在这样的大背景中，我们找到了概括这一时代变化和美术馆自身历史沿革的关键词“迭代”，既强调这一汉语语词“四时更迭”变化往复之本意，也借用其作为一个计算机术语所含的不断更迭更趋完善之意。

本次以“迭代20”为主题的上海多伦现代美术馆建馆二十周年特展，荣幸地邀请到了参与过2003年12月28日上海多伦现代美术馆开馆展“打开天空”项目的28位艺术家隆重呈现，他们是：李山、沈少民、隋建国、胡介鸣、李路明、徐坦、张培力、张晓刚、杨千、周啸虎、翁奋、丁乙、刘建华、沈也、施勇、尹秀珍、朱加、王友身、颜磊、宋冬、杨振中、史金淞、王兴伟、金江波、刘韡、向利庆、徐震®、梁玥。（按年龄排序）

展览将通过文献与新作的并置对话，对2003至2023这二十年间的艺术家个体及其集合而成的历史立体地加以呈现，使得本次展览既成为艺术家与自身的对话，也成为艺术家与时间的对话、与现场的对话。展览不仅反映出二十年间艺术家们本身的艺术思考变化及脉络，也以这28位艺术家艺术创作发展路径的不同切面，展现他们所共同关联的中国当代艺术在这二十年间的发展与变化。

展览将于10月28日起正式对公众开放，展出至2024年2月28日。

2023 marks Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art the 20th anniversary. Being the first public contemporary art museum founded by government in Mainland of China, Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art was also an important participant and promoter of contemporary art in China in its infancy, and has thereafter experienced a major wave of development in the entire museum industry . In this overall background, we find the key word iteration that can sum up this changing times and the history of the museum itself. Iteration not only emphasizes a Chinese phrase in its original sense of change and repetition which means four seasons change, but also as a computer term for constant change and improvement.

Themed as Twenty Years if Iteration, Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art 20th Anniversary Special Exhibition is honored to invite 28 artists who participated in the opening exhibition "Open Sky" project of Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art on 28th December 2003 to present their works together: Li Shan,Shen Shaomin,Sui Jianguo,Hu Jieming,Li Luming,Xu Tan,Zhang Peili,Zhang Xiaogang, Yang Qian, Zhou Xiaohu, Weng Fen, Ding Yi, Liu Jianhua, Shen Ye, Shi Yong,Yin Xiuzhen, Zhu Jia, Wang Youshen, Yan Lei, Song Dong, Yang Zhenzhong,Shi Jinsong,Wang Xingwei,Jin Jiangbo,Liu Wei, Xiang Liqing,Xu Zhen®, Liang Yue.（sorted by age）

Through the juxtaposition of documents and new works, the exhibition will present a three-dimensional view of the individual artists and their collective history from 2003 to 2023, making this exhibition not only a dialogue between the artists and themselves, but also a dialogue between the artists and time, and a dialogue with the scene. The exhibition not only reflects the changes in the artists' own artistic thinking and veins during the past twenty years, but also shows the development and changes in Chinese contemporary art in the past twenty years through the different sections of these 28 artists' art creation development paths, which they are all related to.

The exhibition will be officially open to the public on October 28, and will not end till February 28,2024.
